Opening: The group #exhibition 𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗡 MAQAM & Foam

EXPO OPENING + PUBLICATIE LAUNCH Foam and MAQAM Amsterdam proudly present the group exhibition 𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗡 in collaboration with the municipality of Amsterdam. #gemeenteamsterdam Inspired by Dana Lixenberg’s Tupac Biggie exhibition, eight young makers started working with the photographer herself to capture the icons from their own lives. Because an icon does not necessarily have to be famous – your sister, mentor and boxing coach can equally hold great significance. Renowned professionals such as Dana Lixenberg, Linda van Deursen, and Zeinab El Bouni worked closely with the participants, guiding them in creating autonomous work.
